About Me

I already discovered astronomy as a passion during my childhood. Photography wasn’t that much of an interest to me back then.

However, in 2017, I needed a new challenge and was thinking: What about combining astronomy with photography? Because I love to gain beautiful impressions and I like that it’s a STEAM activity. And so I bought my first real telescope, a Sky-Watcher Explorer Black Diamond N200/1000, an 8″ Newtonian, that I still use today. The first camera I bought to go with my Newtontelescope, was a ZWO ASI 120MC dedicated astro camera. This camera I still use this for Moon -, solar -, and planetary imaging. Later on, I bought a DSLR Canon EOS750D, in the first place for Deep Sky Photography. With these purchases, my journey in astrophotography began. I was hooked from the start and wanted to learn more and more and enjoy with others the same passion. So, I became a member of an astronomy club.

Astrophotography made me also interested in other kinds of photography like macro photography for example. Now, I’m continuously learning and trying new things to share my knowledge with others.

My Mission

My goal is to inspire others and help them treasure the gems of the cosmos and nature through my images.
